Australia Tours acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land, with special respect for the Wurundjeri people. Travellers are encouraged to remain aware of Indigenous cultural sensitivities and the deep spiritual connection that First Nations communities have with their land.
Wildlife should always be observed respectfully without altering their natural behaviour. Sudden movements, loud noises, or attempts to touch, pat, or feed animals can cause stress, injury, or changes in natural behaviour patterns.
Only certified wildlife handlers should interact directly with animals. Providing human food can harm wildlife by affecting digestion, changing feeding habits, or encouraging animals to approach people for food.
If you notice wildlife that appears injured, distressed, or in danger, please inform your Guide/Tour Leader, a National Park Ranger, or Visitor Centre staff immediately.
Guests must remain on designated walking paths, stay within safety barriers, and follow instructions from guides to protect fragile ecosystems. Leaving marked trails can damage habitats, disturb wildlife, and expose travellers to hazards such as cliff edges, falling rocks, branches, and slippery surfaces.
Please do not remove natural items such as flowers, leaves, rocks, or wood from the environment. Even naturally fallen materials play an important role in the local ecosystem.
All vehicles are equipped with onboard rubbish bins. All waste, including food scraps, must be disposed of correctly. Even biodegradable items like fruit peels or bread can attract pests or harm wildlife if left in natural areas.
We strongly encourage travellers to bring a reusable water bottle. Disposable bottles contribute significantly to plastic waste. Our vehicles provide refill stations so you can stay hydrated while reducing environmental impact.
All guides hold a valid Level 2 First Aid certification. If you feel unwell or experience an injury during the tour, please notify your guide immediately. Travellers with existing medical conditions should carry necessary medication and inform their guide at the beginning of the trip.
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside tour vehicles and accommodation facilities, including permanent campgrounds.
Regular comfort stops are scheduled throughout the tour, but these may not always include smoking breaks. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly to prevent fire hazards and environmental damage.
This itinerary is suitable for travellers aged 6 years and older. Children aged 6–17 must stay in a standard private room and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Infants and children under 5 are not permitted on this tour.
Due to limited storage space, guests should bring small soft overnight bags and hand luggage only. Larger suitcases can usually be stored at your Perth accommodation during the tour.
This experience is not suitable for travellers requiring mobility assistance equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers.
Travellers should be in good physical condition for the included walks. Expect to walk approximately 2–2.5 km per day, often on uneven or rocky terrain and sometimes in direct sunlight. Guides may modify activities for safety.
Travellers aged 70+ must provide a doctor’s certificate at least 30 days prior to departure.
